Coding with Google Online program with Stipend‌ facility

Jobs in Google: Coding is one of the skills that make job creation easier. The well-known company Google is inviting those who are interested in this Google coding program. 

The Google Summer of Code (GSOC) program announcement for 2021 has been released. Anyone at least 18 years old can participate. The application process starts in January.

Google Summer of Code: An Internationally organizing program from Google. Students from 118 (One hundred and eighteen) countries around the world participate. The purpose of this program is to introduce student developers to open source software development. This is a 10 week programming project. In this, the student can participate in coding with open source, free software and technology related companies.

The 2021 announcement was recently released. This is usually done during the summer holidays. Its purpose is to help students make the most of their academic leisure time. 

It is possible to earn a certain amount over. Institutions will give mentor to the student if selected. They guide the student throughout the process. 

Thereby becoming part of the open source community. If you are interested, you can continue your career in this.

What is Coding with Google Online program?

This is an online program. Those interested will need to share a project idea they want to work on. The company has to be selected based on that. 

As part of this, participant has to share their project proposal with the company. The company will give the student a mentor if they like it. 

They work together on that project. Mentor companies apply for open source projects. Institutions will negotiate the idea with students if selected. Coding‌ must be completed and submitted by the deadline. That's why Google also pays students a stipend.

Who is eligible to participate in this program?

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College, University, Masters, PhD, Coding related education. Or must have completed the selected program between December 1, 2020 and May 17, 2021.
• Must not have already qualified for the GSOC program two or more times.
